Model Steam
After some years of involvment withTraction engines the family purchased Cairngorm a 4" / ft minature of a Foster Agricultural engine.
Cargorm is almost 6 ft long& weighs in at around 500 KG.
Further down the page is a slideshow with more pictures.
Rallied as bought through 2010 various improvements have gradually been made.
2011 Fusable plug fitted Oilers added for 2nd & 3rd shafts. Replaced / improvedmechanical lubricator linkage.
2012 Most oilers upgraded to wicked types.
2013 Boiler re tubed.
2014 Traction wagon added. Crank shaft bearings replaced & eccentrics.
