These are both worked by sail winch servos, sold for radio control sailing boats, controlled by a commercial servo control board.

 

Chimneys

A Seuthe smoke unit is built into the top of the boiler house chimney. The most challenging task being drilling a hole the length of the casting fo the wires.

The Steam lorry chimney is again a Seuthe unit (for a locomotive) The base & decorative cap from the original cast metal item being grafted on.

 

Factory Clock

This is  a inset unit  obtained via the web, just search for inset clock movement. I found one the close in diameter to the existing hole in the moulding and it is a push fit, It is necessary to remove it to reset the time.
